Welcome to a Singing Six Day journey.

Embark on a journey to realising your singing dreams and discover your vocal strengths and weaknesses.

Body / Instrument – Develop your instrument, your body to produce your desired singing voice.

Mind – Move forwards with mindfulness, balanced emotions, a centred focus, and a calm confidence about your singing.

Musicality – Open your ears to the incredible sounds of your voice in harmony with instruments and vocals. Produce fluidity of rhythms, harmonies and theories to aid in your vocal proficiency.

Vocal Care – Experience the joys of singing correctly to minimise sore, hoarse or a lost voice for short and long periods of time.

Diversity – Produce your song, in your unique voice without sounding like everyone else to move forwards.  Even in a choir – create a unique sound beautiful to your sound.

Go forwards with techniques that enhance your practice and singing at any level.

Intensive Specifically designed for you to become a diverse and dynamic singer.

  • Gain tangible insights into your instrument, safe vocal practices and positive approach to singing on practical, physical, technical and mindful levels.
  • Learn vocal foundation techniques to develop a wide range of vocal skills
  • Quickly make positive and audible changes to your singing – fill in the gaps of your knowledge
  • Know where and how to implement the techniques learnt to for the best vocal outcomes
  • Tackle challenging songs and music with confidence
  • Demonstrate your music competency; pitch, rhythms, musicality, and importantly quality and colour of your full range.
  • Practice techniques specific to your instrument – applicable for soloists, groups, and choirs
  • Build your performance level, raise the bar, move forwards vocally
  • Develop a ‘practice routine’ for your individual vocal needs which include styles, genre and interpretation. Especially important for teachers and coaches because often they neglect their singing growth to give time to their students.

Professional Solo Singers

You often sing in various settings, and for long periods of time.  Here you learn how to use safe vocal techniques keeping your instrument and singing abilities easy – avoid injuries, effects of illness for years to come.  Here you can expand your vocal skills.

Amateur Solo Singers

Improve your singing with vocal techniques that apply to all aspects of your singing for an easier, more skilled ease and an improved sound.

Voice Coaches and Music Teachers*

Learn new techniques, move out of your comfort zone and for a week take care of your voice (which is often neglected with a regular group of students).

Choir Singers & Small Groups

Rise to your group’s potential through the techniques of synchronised breathing and phrasing, with the quality dynamics and harmonising of each voice.  Shine because your Group is singing as one and supports your soloist with great harmonies.

Band & Back-up Singers

Improve your harmonising, expand breath control, vocal care and new techniques to keep you singing for many years to come.

  • Voice skills included in the training are the same for Professional and Amateur Singers & Vocalists. At times the professional singer uses their voice differently and for longer periods at a time but the best practices for singing are applied to all singers for the health of their voice.
  • Singers with or without a degree in music are encouraged to join the intensive. For you who have music or singing degrees, this training may challenge some of your learned techniques, as you learn easier and personalise techniques for an improved singing voice.
  • This intensive is not a one size fits all training, this is not a how to be better than me intensive – this is an intensive to improve you, your voice, your singing. I acknowledge your individuality as a singer at your development level and honour you courage to improve.
